Roads

We pass Dornoch Forth, the landscape is getting more and more fascinating.

Approaching Lairg. a ride through wilderness will follow...

Single-Track-Roads...

Rain starts falling...

Altnaharra, its very lonely here...

Getting closer to Kyle of Tongue the sun is coming back

Back in Scotland

We're getting closer to Edinburgh. We have been informed by a friend, that there is lots of traffic-jam on the roads to the Forth-Bridge during weekends.

At Old Craighall I meet my pal Neil. He lives in Edinburgh and knows some hidden ways to the bridge.

The bridge over the Firth of Forth from an other point of view...

Neil is a good 'leader', however, all we have to do is to follow him and his car.

Finally we reach the Bridge.

After passing this funny bridge a few hours later, we reach Balnaguard.

This is a 4-star B&B and we really enjoy it before going up to the rough Highlands.

This excellent B&B is managed by an english couple. We will stay there again on our next journey to Scotland.

We enjoy a perfect sunset on this first day in Scotland.

Thursday

On the Road again

Four weeks in Scotland passed too soon...
Here is the report

Its always a thrilling moment approaching the harbour...

...passing the old dockyards of Newcastle

Big fish in a distance...

Finally: Royal Quays North Shields - there we are.

A few steps only to reach Scottish ground again.

The scottish weather is fine - we are back, everythings fine

This was just the beginning....
